JAGUAR XJ12 SOVEREIGN V12

17,000.00

Back in 1987 this was as good as it got, the flagship of the fleet. This two owner, Series 3 XJ12 Series 3 Sovereign V12 Saloon is in superb condition inside and out. The Pininfarina styled body is still beautiful even by todays standards and the ride is superb. One of the the most popular Jaguars ever produced, the series III XJ combines the style and grace of days gone by with the modern appointments and luxuries that Jaguar buyers expect. This particular example is the top of the range Sovereign with Luxury Pack which included: rear headrests, trip computer, cruise control, height adjustable front seats and the much loved pepper pot alloy wheels with te propper Pirelli P4000 balloon tyers. Its 5.3 V12 engine, driving through a GM400 automatic gearbox, delivers outstanding, smooth, performance. Its brakes are firm and sure and its steering: completely accurate.

The interior looks like it has just been rolled out of the showroom and shows now traces of use ore ware.

with a Unique history file, original service and instruction books. Known provenance from new with first owner for 20 years and few ownership changes since. concourse condition and evidently always looked after during its whole life . A good solid history back to the original owner with no doubt many bills amassed over the years. The car has been in the hands of a Munich Business owner where it shared most of its life and has always been stored indoors. The personal assistant of the former Bavarian owner has always cleaned it and looked after the car after every drive. A rare find, this appreciating classic is worth inspecting, any test welcome.
